Indian Journalist Association Jamshedpur celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm.

Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, a special seminar was organized by the Jamshedpur unit of the Indian Journalist Association after the flag hoisting ceremony. The flag was hoisted by Atif Khan, State Secretary of the Indian Journalist Association, Jharkhand. After the national anthem, the journalists present raised slogans of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," "Bharat Veeron Ki Jai," and "Vande Mataram," and then saluted the tricolor flag.

The program included an in-depth discussion on the importance of democracy, the Indian Constitution, and independent journalism.

During the seminar, the speakers said that the Indian Constitution is the foundation of the country's democratic system and that January 26th reminds every citizen of their rights as well as their duties. They said that journalists are the fourth pillar of democracy and it is their responsibility to practice journalism without pressure, prioritizing truth and public interest.

The office bearers of the Indian Journalist Association clarified that the organization will continue to strongly fight for the safety, respect, and rights of journalists. They said that true and fearless journalism guides society in the right direction and that there will be no compromise with the truth under any circumstances.

All the office bearers present at the meeting urged journalists to strengthen social concerns by adopting the fundamental principles of the Constitution. The seminar concluded with a pledge to strengthen democracy and protect independent journalism.

On this occasion, State Secretary Atif Khan, Kolhan In-charge Mohammad Salman Khan, Kolhan President Abhishek Kumar, District President Manoj Sharma, Senior District Vice President Mohammad Kalimullah, District General Secretary Tripurari Gautam, District Secretary Subrato Singh, Vinod Lakra and other members and journalists were present.
