Indian Journalist Association organized Roza Iftar, conveying the message of brotherhood and unity.

Amidst the blessings and bounties of the holy month of Ramadan, the Indian Journalist Association organized a grand Roza Iftar at the Media Center, Ghazi Rauza Tiraha, Dr. Aziz Ahmed Road, Gorakhpur. A large number of journalists, social workers, and dignitaries from various walks of life participated in the event. All the fasting people shared Iftar together, conveying the message of brotherhood, love, and humanity.

As soon as the Maghrib prayer was called, the fasting people broke their fast with dates and water. They all offered prayers in congregation, praying to Allah for peace, progress, and strengthening of brotherhood in the society.

On this occasion, Seraj Ahmad Quraishi, National President of the Indian Journalist Association, said that the month of Ramadan is a month of patience, prayer, mercy, and forgiveness. During this month, people should purify their hearts, help the needy, and spend as much time as possible in the worship of Allah.

He said that fasting teaches us patience, sacrifice, and service to humanity. Hunger and thirst help people understand the suffering of the poor and needy, which increases empathy and brotherhood in society.

Senior Journalist Sushil Kumar Gupta said that journalists are the voice of society and should fulfill their responsibility in spreading the message of peace, brotherhood, and humanity. He said that such Roza Iftar programs strengthen mutual love and harmony in society and bring people from all religions and communities together.

The guests present at the event also highlighted the virtues of Ramadan and said that this month is the best opportunity to worship Allah, do good deeds and help others.

The Iftar included sherbet, cold drinks, dates, fruits and many other dishes.

In the end, the organizer expressed his gratitude to all the guests and the fasting people and said that the Indian Journalist Association will continue to organize such programs to promote social and religious harmony.

The main people present at the Roza Iftar were National President Seraj Ahmad Quraishi, Naved Alam, Mohammad Azam, Akhilesh Dhar Dwivedi, Sushil Kumar Gupta, Ajit Yadav, Tanveer Azad, Dr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, Rafi Ahmad, Mohammad Ahmed Khan, Mohd. Rafiq Ahmad, Zuber Alam, Dr. Atiq Ahmed, Mohd. Hundreds of people including Irfan Ullah Khan, Sajjad Ahmed, Amarnath Jaiswal, Satish Chandra, Ashutosh Kumar, Ajmer Khan, Ram Shankar Gupta, National President of Human Rights Organization Mohammad Razi, Muzaffar Bhai, social worker Dr. Aqib Ansari, Danish Khan, Arshad Jamal Samani, Awadhesh Srivastava, Haji Mukhtar Ahmed Qureshi, Mohammad Mohtasim, Mohammad Zeeshan, Mohammad Arsh etc. were present.
