Indian Journalist Association Jalna District Committee meeting was held in Government Rest House, Jalna under the chairmanship of Maharashtra State President of the organization Aslam Qureshi. In the meeting, current problems of journalists, expansion of organization at various levels and upcoming programs were discussed. Indian Journalist Association Marathwada, Maharashtra State President Aslam Qureshi, who was present in the meeting, said that the government should from journalist constituencies similar to teacher constituencies in Maharashtra Legislative Council. Like teacher MLAs, journalists should also have MLAs to solve the problems of journalists. The condition of journalism and journalists is worrisome today. It is known for its strong participation in democracy. It is the responsibility of all of us to maintain its credibility. In the meeting, the newly appointed State Senior Vice President of Indian Journalist Association Marathwada, Maharashtra, Ayesha Khan Mulani said that efforts will be made to solve the problems of journalists by strengthening the Indian Journalist Association in Maharashtra.

On this occasion, Ayesha Khan Mulani (Executive Editor Aajcha Chitralekha) was appointed as Maharashtra Senior State Vice President and Balaji Adiyal (Editor Aajcha Chitralekha) was appointed as State Joint Secretary.

In the meeting Jalna District Executive of Indian Journalist Association was expanded. In which Aamer Khan (Editor Zalzala Times) has been made District President, Naresh Anna Shripat (News India One) District General Secretary, Javed Khan (Dainik Loktantrik Jang) District Vice President, Syed Mahebub (Dainik Kingmaker Times) District Secretary, Sheikh Salim (Jalna Citizen) District Vice President and Sunil Bharti (Dainik Prabandh Bhoomi) Media Incharge, Javed Tamboli (Maharashtra News) and Basit Beg (Global News) have been given the responsibility of District Council Member.
