On the instructions of the Indian Journalist Association's National President and senior journalist, Seraj Ahmad Quraishi, a meeting was held at Hotel The Park Retreat, Birsa Chowk (Hatia Station Road), under the auspices of the Jharkhand unit, to ensure the success of the 8th International Journalist Awards, Conference, and Symposium, scheduled for November 5, 2025, in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. The meeting was chaired by Indian Journalist Association State President Devanand Sinha and conducted by Ranchi District President Vipin Kumar Singh.
An organizing committee was also formed to prepare for the conference. Madhu Sinha, National Secretary of the Indian Journalist Association Women's Wing, who was present at the meeting, provided specific guidelines to the organization's office bearers to ensure the conference was a success. Meanwhile, State President Devanand Sinha distributed responsibilities among all the office bearers of the Jharkhand State unit to ensure the conference was a success.
On this occasion, Mr. Sinha said that the Indian Journalist Association's eighth International Journalist Awards, Conference, and Symposium will be attended by senior journalists from various states, association officials, and selected journalists from India and abroad. As per the state president's instructions, a committee has been formed to select the conference venue and handle other responsibilities. Vipin Kumar Singh, Rafi Sami, Kajal Mehta, and Vijay Dutt Pintu have been included in the committee. It is noteworthy that the Indian Journalist Association is demanding the implementation of a journalist protection law in various states of the country. A special discussion in this direction will also be held at the eighth conference of the Indian Journalist Association. Senior journalists Naval Kishore Singh and Sanjeet Kumar Deepak also wished the conference a success.
